A 501 (c) (3) charitable family oriented club for riders of all ages and experience

We Need You!

The Motorcycle Riders Association (MRA) is a volunteer-driven organization. Everything we accomplish—from maintaining over 150 miles of trails and hosting events to improving our facilities, securing grants, and protecting riding opportunities—is made possible by dedicated volunteers.

As our organization continues to grow, so does the need for people who are willing to lend a hand. Whether you can volunteer a few hours a year or become a regular part of our team, every contribution makes a difference.

Meet Our Volunteer Coordinator

We're excited to welcome Anavrin Brooks as the MRA's Volunteer Coordinator & Trail Maintenance Technician. Anavrin's role is to help connect volunteers with projects, organize work parties, coordinate trail maintenance efforts, and ensure everyone has the tools and information they need to make a positive impact.

If you're interested in volunteering, have questions about upcoming projects, or would like to discuss how your skills can help the MRA, Anavrin would love to hear from you.

How You Can Help

There are countless ways to get involved, both on and off the mountain. Volunteers are always needed for:

  • Trail maintenance and brushing
  • Heavy equipment operation
  • Cleanup crews
  • Event setup and teardown
  • Parking and registration
  • Course marking, trail flagging, and sweep riders
  • Merchandise sales
  • Website development
  • Social media and marketing
  • Photography and videography
  • Grant writing
  • Trail mapping and GPS work
  • Fundraising and sponsorships
  • Administrative and office support
  • Youth programs and rider education
  • Group ride leadership
  • And so much more!

Your Skills Matter

You don't have to ride a motorcycle to make a meaningful impact. We welcome spouses, family members, friends, youth volunteers, retirees, and anyone who wants to support responsible OHV recreation.

Whether you're skilled with a chainsaw, a camera, a computer, heavy equipment, event planning, or simply have a willingness to help, there's a place for you at the MRA.

Every volunteer hour helps improve our trail system, strengthens our community, supports grant funding, and ensures future generations will continue to have places to ride.

Join us and help make a difference. Together, we're building a stronger future for off-highway recreation in Southern Oregon.

Record your Volunteer Hours

Please log your volunteer hours here. This can be for Events or Maintenance/trail work.  All the hours are important!  It helps us know where people have been working out on the mountain and surrounding areas.
There will be some really cool prizes at the Annual Banquet for hours logged and you don't want to miss out.  This is open to to anyone and any age!  It all counts.   We will be adding more of the surrounding areas and fine tuning the Johns Peak list as we are able.  Please take photos before and after if you are able to and upload them for trail work.
